Elena and Michael had been married for twelve years. In that time, she had gotten used to trusting her husband with almost everything: she never checked his phone, never tracked his trips, and never asked unnecessary questions. So when Michael told her he had to fly to another city again for work, Elena decided to give him a little surprise on his birthday.
“You won’t mind if I take a little vacation too, will you?” she smiled, buying a ticket for the same flight.
“Of course not,” Michael answered calmly. “Just let me know which city you’re planning to vacation in.”

“In a few months, when your and my baby is born, we’ll already be living as a real family, far away from everyone.”
