The courtroom was silent, and everyone was waiting for the verdict. The lawyer—a serious middle-aged man—had made a final decision: he no longer wanted to defend the young man accused of major financial fraud.

— Are you sure about this? — he asked cautiously.
— Completely, — the girl confirmed. — I saw how he helped employees correct mistakes, supported people, and even tried to warn of possible fraud.
He was the only one who wanted everything to be fair.
