The man had worked all day at the office—immersed in heavy meetings and reports.
When he returned home, he noticed that his daughter was sitting on the floor with her favorite colorful books open, but with a somewhat sad expression on her face.
“Dad, you came home very late today,” she said, looking gently at her father.
