The man’s daughter stopped walking a few months ago. It all started on an ordinary day when she fell while playing in the yard. At first it seemed like just a minor injury, but after a few days the girl began to fear standing on her feet.
After long examinations, doctors said there were no serious physical injuries, but her muscles were tense and psychological fear had made the problem worse.
From that day on, she only moved with crutches, and the father did everything he could — from the best doctors to expensive treatments, but nothing worked.
That day, when the man was at home, he suddenly heard noise outside. His heart tightened. Without hesitation, he ran into the yard, already imagining the worst. He was convinced that a stranger, maybe a homeless boy, was trying to harm his vulnerable daughter.
But when he went outside, he froze.
His daughter was standing in a metal tub filled with water, leaning on her crutches and smiling. Next to her sat a boy in dirty, worn clothes.
They were simply talking — sincerely, calmly… as if they had known each other for a long time.
The man quickly approached.
— Who are you? What are you doing here? — he asked sharply, not taking his eyes off the boy.
The boy calmly looked up.
— I was just talking to her.
The man was already getting angry.
— Do you know what condition my daughter is in? Stay away from her.
After a short pause, the boy said:
— I know why she can’t walk… and I can help.
The man exploded.

But the boy did not argue. He listened quietly and then said very calmly:
— As you wish, sir. But please allow me to try at least. If it doesn’t work… you can do whatever you want with me.
