When Ethan came home earlier than usual that evening, he had no idea that within a few minutes, his life would change completely.
There were only three weeks left until the wedding. Ethan and Chloe had been together for almost four years, and he truly believed he knew her better than anyone. “Yes,” his father answered calmly. “What’s more, the wedding will be held at the same venue where your wedding to Chloe was supposed to take place. And you’ll pay for it.”
Ethan looked at his parents, then at Chloe and Ryan. Just seconds earlier, he had wanted to kill them both with his own hands, but their words suddenly changed his whole state of mind. He stopped shouting.
“Fine,” he said, unexpectedly calm.
