A man, hearing strange sounds coming from a box placed next to one of the stalls, called the police. What they discovered there shocked even the police officers themselves.
The man worked at a nearby car repair shop. That day, he went to one of the stalls to get tools from his car trunk. When he closed the car door, he suddenly heard a very soft but strange sound. At first, he thought it was probably a cat or some animal hiding behind the stalls.
But when he got closer, he noticed a large wooden box standing near the door of one of the stalls. On the box, in large letters, it said: “Do not touch with hands.”
The man stopped. He heard the same sound again, this time more clearly.
Something was moving inside the box… and dull, strange noises could be heard.
A shiver ran through the man’s body. For a few seconds, he thought about opening the box, but then he realized it would be better to call the police. He quickly went outside and approached the police officers who were on duty nearby.
— Please, come with me, — he said excitedly. — There’s a box… sounds are coming from inside.
The police officers exchanged glances, then, without wasting time, went with him. 😨😨
A few minutes later, they were already standing in front of a row of stalls — right in front of the very box the man had mentioned. Now they could hear the sounds too.
— It’s better to first find the owner of the stall, — said one of the officers.
For a few minutes, they tried to figure out who owned the stall, but it turned out the owner wasn’t there, and nobody knew where he was. The sounds from inside the box continued, and no one understood what could be in there.
Finally, the police decided not to wait any longer. They approached the box, opened it… and what they saw inside shocked everyone, especially the officers themselves.

Inside the box, in the dark, huddled together, were several small puppies. They were scared, but as soon as the light fell inside, they began to move and whimper softly.
Even the police officers were shocked for a moment.
— How could someone have closed them in here?.. — whispered one of the female officers.
The puppies had clearly spent a long time in the closed box. They were trembling, but they were alive.
The man who first heard their sounds let out a sigh of relief.
If he hadn’t stopped then and listened to those strange sounds, probably no one would have noticed the box.
And it was on that very day that this accidental moment saved several small lives.
