The mother-in-law came and tried to humiliate me at my workplace, however one of our superiors, a four-star general, seeing all of this, did something that shocked all of us on the spot.
That day, a tense atmosphere reigned in the main building of the city’s military administration.
I was on duty — I was supposed to take part in an important meeting attended by high-ranking officers and even representatives of the Ministry of Defense.
Everything was going as usual until suddenly loud shouting was heard in the main corridor of the building.
Everyone turned toward the entrance.
My mother-in-law entered the building.
Her face was red with anger. With quick steps she approached me and, without even greeting me, began shouting in front of everyone.
— You have disgraced our family! — she shouted. — My son hasn’t been home all night because of you. Do you think that just because you wear a uniform you are an important person?
