A man was walking home from work when he saw his children standing in the pouring rain, and upon learning the reason they were outside, he hurried home — and what he did shocked everyone.
In the evening, a man returned home from work, tired and soaked from the rain, but before reaching the house, he saw his children on the street, standing in the rain and crying.
The two twin daughters were standing in front of the gate, hands resting on the railing, and the little son was visible by the wooden stairs in front of the door, holding a white towel in his hands.
— Why are you outside in this weather? What happened? — the man asked, worried and angry. 😨😨

The man hurried home, thinking only of one thing — to demand an explanation from his wife and understand why the children were outside in such weather. He opened the door abruptly, ready with angry words, but the first glance changed everything.
In the living room sat a man who immediately surprised him. Was he a stranger? No. He recognized him at once — it was an old close family friend, who had often visited their home many years ago.
The children simply didn’t remember him: back then they were very small, and the years had erased his image from their memory. That’s why they thought there was a stranger in the house.
The man was silent for a moment, then looked at his wife. The anger didn’t disappear, but it turned into a heavy and deep feeling.
— You should have explained to the children, — he said in a soft but firm voice, — and not allowed them to go outside out of fear.
The wife explained that she hadn’t sent the children outside to leave them unsupervised, but to calmly welcome and serve the guest before your return home.
Now the man understood that in this whole situation there was no ill intention from his wife toward the children, just a forced decision to properly receive the guest.
He spent several hours with the guest who had come to their family, and together they discussed the past years of their lives — from school days to recent times — at the table with a few glasses of drinks.
