A woman stepped out of the car — tall, confident, as if she had just stepped off a magazine cover.
Everyone immediately recognized her: she was one of the city’s most famous women, the owner of a vast fortune, and the founder of one of the largest IT companies.
But today, there was none of the cold confidence in her eyes that people were used to seeing during meetings with journalists.
She walked past the astonished people and stopped in front of the homeless man sitting against a wall. His coat was worn, his hands trembled from the cold, and his gaze was tired and wary. The woman approached, introduced herself, and said her name as she sat down beside him:
— I see you here often, — she said to the homeless man 😨😨.
He replied that he lived in the area and that it was normal for him to be there.
Everyone around stood frozen, not understanding why one of the city’s most famous women was standing in front of a supermarket talking to a homeless man.
And suddenly, the crowd went stiff when they saw the woman take a wedding ring out of her pocket and propose to the homeless man. But what the man did next shocked everyone present.

The crowd outside the supermarket was motionless. The man looked at the ring, paused for a moment, and then slowly smiled.
— Are you really willing to risk everything for me? — he whispered.
The woman nodded, not hiding her excitement. His gaze softened, and he reached out his hand.
— Then show me that this isn’t just a gesture, — he said, and at that moment a police officer, called by someone in the crowd, approached. Everyone expected a scene, but the man unexpectedly dropped to one knee.
— I accept, — he said quietly, holding her gaze.
The crowd froze in shock, unable to believe their eyes: the homeless man, whom almost no one knew, had accepted the proposal of one of the city’s richest women. She knelt down beside him and carefully placed the ring on his finger.
And suddenly the man said:
— But if we’re together, we need to start with a clean slate.
He looked at the crowd and smiled mysteriously, then took her hand and walked toward the car. People remained standing, shocked and intrigued: no one expected this unusual union to actually happen.
