Alex had always been the one in the family that the adults considered too honest. He couldn’t stay silent when he saw injustice, and that very habit might one day cost him his life.
That evening, Alex was riding with his aunt Emma along a country road. They were coming back from a family dinner when, on one of the turns, the car suddenly lost control. There was a loud crash, the car spun around, and then slammed into a tree.
